본교 전혜인 학생(공간디자인전공 2학년)이 (사)한국공간디자인학회가 주최하는 「제5회 2026 K-공간디자인 캠프」에서 동상을 수상하였습니다. 또한, 지도 교수로 참여하신 김연정 교수님께서 우수한 지도력과 헌신적인 교육 활동으로 캠프 발전에 기여하여, 그 공로를 기리어 지도자상을 수상하셨습니다.

▪️ 작품 제목 : MILLAK : FLOATING BLUE BRANDSCAPE
▪️ 작품 설명 : 부산의 대표 수변공원인 민락수변공원은 광안대교 조망과 높은 접근성을 갖추었으나, 단순 산책과 경관 감상 위주에 머물러 체류형 공간과 다양한 수변 경험 시설이 부족한 실정입니다. 본 작품은 민락수변공원의 상징적 요소인 방파제 ‘테트라포드(Tetrapod)’를 디자인의 출발점으로 삼아, 단순한 형태가 아닌 ‘사람이 안전하게 바다를 경험하도록 돕는 역할’에 주목하여, 보호의 공간을 경험의 공간으로 재해석하고자 합니다.

Jeon Hye-in, a student majoring in Spatial Design (Division of Design), won the Bronze Award at the 5th 2026 K-Spatial Design Camp, hosted by the Korean Institute of Spatial Design (KISD). Furthermore, Professor Kim Yeon-jung, who served as the faculty advisor, was honored with the Leadership Award in recognition of her outstanding mentorship and dedicated educational activity that contributed significantly to the camp’s development.

• Project Title: MILLAK : FLOATING BLUE BRANDSCAPE
• Project Description: Although Millak Waterfront Park—a landmark waterfront space in Busan offering high accessibility and a scenic view of the Gwangan Bridge—boasts great potential, it currently lacks stay-type spaces and diverse waterfront experiences, remaining limited to simple walks and scenery viewing. Taking the ‘Tetrapod’—a symbolic element of the park’s breakwater—as its design starting point, this project focuses not merely on its physical form, but on its role in helping people experience the ocean safely. Through this lens, it reinterprets a space of protection into a space of experience.
