JongHoon Choe

Professor Jonghoon Choe is an expert specializing in human experiences within digital environments, with a primary focus on User Interface and User Experience design. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design from Seoul National University and his Master’s degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University. Following his academic pursuits, he accumulated extensive industry experience working as a UX Designer at Samsung Electronics for several years. Currently, his research explores the emotional and aesthetic experiences formed through the interaction between humans, digital media, and artificial intelligence. He deeply focuses on bridging design with the humanities to meet the demands of future society, with a particular research emphasis on cultural experience design.

Prof. Hyun Jung Yu is an accomplished researcher and educator specializing in interactive video, media interaction, and content design. She received her B.F.A degree from Ewha Womans University and her M.F.A degree from Boston University. She actively conducts research and presents exhibitions on interactive edutainment content driven by convergent digital media. Her work centers on the emotional synergy between technology and humans, expanding the educational and social values of design through NUI-based interaction, AR/XR exhibitions, and AI-driven mobile services. As an educator, she is also dedicated to nurturing multidisciplinary and convergent talents. Currently, she serves as a board member for the Human Computer Interaction (HCI) Society of Korea and the Korean Society of Design Science(KSDS).
Jeannie Kang

Professor Jeannie Kang is a UX designer and researcher exploring innovation in User Experience design in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI). She studied English Language and Literature and Business Administration at Ewha Womans University and earned her MFA in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts (SVA). She worked as a UX designer at leading global firms in New York, including Adobe, Digitas, and R/GA, and later served as a Principal Designer at Samsung Electronics. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Design at Ewha Womans University, where she leads the Connected eXperience Design (CXD) Lab and researches design processes that uncover real problems and generate meaningful insights in collaboration with AI. She also serves as a board member of the Korean Society of Design Science and the Korea Society of Design Convergence, advancing research and discourse at the intersection of design and AI.
YooMi Choi

Yoo Mi Choi is an educator and researcher who explores the expressive and educational potential of animation to enrich human emotion, imagination, and learning. With an academic background spanning a Ph.D. in Educational Technology, an M.S. in Engineering, and an M.F.A., her research focuses on media design and creative arts education utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as 3D computer animation, stereoscopic video, XR, AR, and VR. A former President of the Women's Association of Design and the Korean Society of Animation Studies, she has successfully directed major national projects. She continues to expand the artistic and educational boundaries of animation through her research, publications, academic leadership, and exhibitions.
