PRESENTATION
The Ceramic Arts program explores both theoretical inquiry and creative practice in ceramics as a multifaceted medium, ranging from long-standing traditions to high-tech applications. Through this, the program aims to cultivate globally competent women artists in the field of ceramics.
Positioned between—and across—the boundaries of art, design, and craft, the curriculum embraces an interdisciplinary approach, offering education in traditional ceramics, contemporary ceramics, and industrial ceramics.
Graduates of the program pursue diverse career paths, including operating their own ceramic studios as professional artists, working in ceramic industries and materials companies, engaging in industrial ceramics, and taking on roles such as designers and visual merchandisers (VMD) in various sectors.
