CURRICULUM
Year 1
As a foundational course for the Fiber Art major, this program helps students understand the physical properties and creative potential of fibers, and learn the characteristics of various fiber materials and basic expression techniques. Through this, students cultivate a basic sense of form and expressive ability, and learn the characteristics and fundamental principles of fiber art.
- 1st Semester: Basic Fashion Design, Textile Drawing
- 2nd Semester: Digital Media and Expression, Fundamentals of Fiber Art
Year 2
Building on an understanding of basic materials and techniques, students expand their exploration of diverse fiber expression methods and form-making experiments, deepening their expressive skills and creativity. Students explore their own unique visual language by applying and adapting traditional textile art techniques and principles—such as weaving, embroidery, dyeing, and printing—to their work.

Year 3

Additionally, by integrating theory and practice, students are encouraged to critically understand the significance and formal possibilities of contemporary fiber art.

Year 4
Students are guided to build their own unique artistic universe based on a comprehensive understanding of fiber art and skilled expressive abilities. Through creative approaches to contemporary fiber art rooted in tradition, students explore new possibilities in the fields of art and textiles while completing their graduation projects and advanced research. Furthermore, through collaboration with the industry, students gain practical experience and develop the ability to proactively establish their own artistic universe based on a contemporary artistic perspective.
